Sometimes you feel like crying

Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you: But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ's sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy. 1Peter 4:12-13

The sky was growing darker, as I looked out my window tonight

And just like my depression, those clouds were blocking the light

And as I prayed for the wind to come, and chase those clouds away

The light came with the thunder, and then it started to rain

I know we, all have our share of problems, some darker than the rest 
And we get into these situations, that leave us feeling awkward at best

But the rain will come and the rain will go

When it does is anyones guess

So we gotta push on, just keep on being strong

For it's all a part of the Test....

Sometimes I look to the sky and I ask Him why does this happen to me

I try to be faithful and follow Your words

But this is getting the best of me

Then in a revelation I see His face, smiling as He says

Just keep doing your best, I'll help you pass this test

And it will make you stronger, you'll see

You know that time heals all wounds they say, and I believe it's true

 And situations can seem to take care of themselves

 As long as we follow them thru

 Oh, the Lord has a way of making things work out

 So put your cares to rest

 For if your heart is true, Jesus will carry you

 You know it's all a part of the Test

Here God speaks to the Ephesian church, but also to followers of Christ, who have forgotten their first love…Jesus!

You say it’s been so long since you’ve seen someone

Really walkin’ with God his eyes on the son

And those sermons Just don’t move you anymore

Well your King James version

Just sits on the shelf

While you make a version all for yourself

And you just sit there wonderin’ what went wrong

Well it’s time to get back on the track

And ask the Lord for what you lack

Cause he wants so much to give it back to you

The Joy you had when you life was brand new

You say Jesus don’t seem so close anymore

But you throw the lock when he knocks on the door

How do expect to talk to someone

If you won’t even let him in

What will it take to break your heart again my friend

Remember he was broken for you

The moment you accepted him

Life began to change

Think about it now what are you gonna do

Dedicated to the Chaplains in Sudan, where Brad went to help teach them the Bible.

The Sudanese Christians have been under heavy persecution for many years, and are still in a civil war, and have sacrificed much to learn and then teach the Bible to others.

I know you live a hard life my friend

And sometimes you've had your fill

And when you live your life in the name of Jesus Christ

Sometimes it's harder still

But be not weary in well doing

Just cast your cares upon Him

He began a good work in you, and He'll be true to see you through

Just keep your eyes on Him, for......

He who overcomes, will inherit all things

We'll belong to Him, and He will be our King

He who overcomes, will see Him on the throne

He will be our God and we will be His own

Well in the strength of Jesus

We can do most anything

So do not be afraid, the price has already been paid

We'll just have to ask of Him

And now I pray these words that you'll hide them in your heart

To sustain you on your way

To live your life for Jesus Christ there is no better sacrifice

 About what's ailin' you?

  And it's time we started takin' time out for God
